The number 88 holds sacred resonance — representing twin butterflies, the double infinity, and the bond of identical twins born on January 17. In numerology, 1 + 7 equals 8 — a number of power, harmony, and spiritual balance. The twin butterflies that greet visitors on the homepage are not just beautiful — they are encoded with meaning.

A Note from the Byrd.
From technical to tactile… this is the path I’m learning to walk.
For over a decade, I’ve worked in engineering design — a field built on precision and structure, but far removed from the Earth, creativity, and quiet intuition I’ve always cherished. I’ve spent years feeling like a part of me was missing — the part that speaks in color and scent, in soil and soul.
But that part never stopped whispering.
It pulled me toward the garden. Toward cooking with my hands. Toward long walks with my dogs and days spent barefoot in the sunlight. And most powerfully, it pulled me toward people — the kind of connection that feels real, warm, and meant to be. I found that through Pilates, where movement became medicine, and where I finally began to feel seen again. Teaching has been a gift. It never feels like “work” — it feels like coming home.
The Pilates community has held such a sacred space in my life. Their support, love, and encouragement have carried me more than words can say. They’ve been a heartbeat behind this journey — reminding me that we are here to nurture each other, to connect, to heal. And that healing takes many forms.
One of those forms, for me, has been skin. Ritual. Touch. Plants. During the stillness of COVID, I began formulating. What started as curiosity became communion. I wasn’t just making products — I was remembering who I am.
LoveByrd Essentials is the visible expression of that remembering. It’s a reflection of the life I’ve always lived behind the scenes — close to the land, guided by intuition, steeped in ritual. A blend of science and soul. Structure and softness. Nature and nurture.
I’m still walking between two worlds — balancing the technical career I’ve known with the soul calling I can no longer ignore. But this brand… this space… this offering — is where my spirit lives.
